At LHH, we are currently looking for an HR Officer for an international company in the industrial sector, recently integrated into a global group. The role is based in the Barcelona metropolitan area and supports the corporate functions of the organization at a regional level.


Job Description


The position is based at the company’s corporate office, which hosts a diverse team including senior executives, middle managers, specialists, and support staff. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing core HR functions, with a strong focus on payroll and HR operations. Key responsibilities include:


  • Coordination and supervision of payroll processes (outsourced), including expatriate contracts
  • Management of confidential executive payroll and employment documentation
  • Support in recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Oversight of employee lifecycle activities (contracts, onboarding, offboarding)
  • Implementation of training, development, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Working time and absence monitoring, ensuring compliance with internal
  • Support in compensation and benefits programs
  • Collaboration with HR teams in other locations to standardize HR practices across the region
  • Ensuring compliance with Spanish labor law and internal global HR policies

Candidate Profile


We are looking for a candidate with a degree in Human Resources and 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar HR Officer role within a corporate environment. The ideal candidate will have:


  • Solid understanding of Spanish labor law and HR policies
  • Good knowledge of payroll processes, including expatriate management
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Experience working with senior leadership and handling confidential information

Soft Skills


  • High level of initiative and responsibility
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, international environment

Languages


  • Fluent Spanish
  • Fluent English
