Overview
A well established organisation in South Yorkshire is seeking a skilled and motivated Conveyancing Executive to join its in-house legal team on a permanent basis. This is a key role supporting the delivery of residential plot sales, part exchange purchases, and associated re-sales. The successful candidate will manage a busy caseload from file opening to completion, working closely with internal stakeholders to meet business objectives and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing documentation for each transaction, including contract packs, enquiries, and completion statements.
Managing part exchange purchases and subsequent re-sales.
Taking instructions from internal clients and progressing matters accordingly.
Liaising with the sales team to ensure timely exchanges and completions.
Registering part exchange purchases.
Generating reports from the internal case management system.
Supporting the legal team with delegated supervisory responsibilities as needed.
Candidate Profile
Previous experience in residential conveyancing is essential.
Ideally experienced in new build transactions.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Proficient in using case management systems.
Knowledge of the Solicitors Code of Conduct, CQS, and UK Finance Lenders Handbook.
Law degree or CILEX qualification (or working towards) desirable.
