Legal Counsel - Global Information Services (4-7 PQE) Location: London - Hybrid Salary: £85,000 - £100,000 per annum
A leading global data and market intelligence provider is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its growing legal function and work closely with the Senior Legal Counsel in place. Backed by private equity and undergoing significant expansion, the company supports critical supply chains across commodities, energy transition, and digital markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on a wide range of commercial legal matters globally, including tech contracts, licensing, IP, data privacy, and employment.
- Draft and negotiate customer/supplier agreements, SaaS contracts, and MSAs.
- Support legal process improvement and risk management initiatives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and external legal vendors.
- Assist in developing a scalable in-house legal capability post-acquisition.
Ideal Candidate:
- UK-qualified solicitor with between 3 - 7 years' PQE
- Strong commercial contracts experience, ideally with global exposure.
- Experience with SaaS, IT procurement, and data licensing preferred.
- Pragmatic, independent, and comfortable in a small legal team.
- Strong communicator with a commercial, solution-oriented approach.
