Real Estate Finance Lawyer NQ-4 years pqe:

We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Real Estate Finance/Real Estate Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding and experience in residential and/or commercial property work, along with strong commercial awareness. Building and maintaining excellent client relationships is crucial.


Responsibilities:


Handle diverse and high-quality work for bridging and high street lenders, as well as borrowers.


Demonstrate broad experience in Real Estate Finance/Real Estate, showing ambition, initiative, passion, and commercial acumen.


Engage in a wide range of commercial property work within a supportive environment.


Welcome applications from solicitors with Commercial and/or Residential Real Estate experience interested in Real Estate Finance.


Technical Skills and Expertise:


Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Diligent, hard-working, and detail-oriented.


Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.


Strong team player willing to assist colleagues.


Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload.


Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.


Client Relations:


Provide high-quality legal services to clients.


Develop and maintain strong client relationships, gaining their confidence and that of other professionals.


Respond to legal advice requests from current and potential clients, making appropriate decisions.


Identify solutions to client problems and offer advice on law, legal procedures, and related issues.


Attend and represent the firm at client meetings.


Personal Development:


Understand the requirements for career progression.


Support internal procedures and systems, including file/case management and time recording.


Stay updated with law and practice, sharing information with colleagues.


Engage in continuing professional development (CPD) by reading journals and attending courses.


Maintain high standards of professional conduct while generating adequate practice income.


Qualifications:


LPC/BVC qualified.


2:1 Degree.


Duties:


Act on behalf of both lender and borrower clients.


Draft security documents, including mortgage deeds, debentures, and facility agreements.


Obtain and review legal packs.


Review title documents for both residential and commercial properties.


Raise enquiries on legal packs.


Draft Reports on Title, including residential and commercial lease reports.


Work within tight time frames.


Liaise with and report to clients on a weekly basis.


Achieve billing and time recording targets.


Career Development: Receive bespoke training at each career stage to support your development and progression as well as be included on the firm's career development programme.
