Machinist Team Member East Midlands £31,982 - £32,684 per year + 15% shift allowance + bonus
LHH is partnering with a leading UK manufacturer to recruit a skilled Machinist Team Member to join their expanding engineering team at their Corby site. This is a key role in a workshop undergoing significant investment, with over £500,000 already spent on new machinery and a further £1 million planned.
In this role, you will machine and repair one-off and small-batch components using manual lathes, milling machines, and general workshop tools. You'll work from engineering drawings to tight tolerances and support the transition to a new, upgraded facility. The role operates on a rotating shift pattern (days, backs, nights) Monday to Friday.
We're looking for candidates with a time-served apprenticeship or equivalent experience, ideally holding an NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification. CNC experience and safety certifications (IOSH/NEBOSH) are desirable.
