Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts to help drive financial performance.
- Post accruals, prepayments, and ledger entries with precision.
- Prepare and post journals accurately, ensuring smooth operations.
- Handle VAT Returns and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and GRNI reconciliations.
- Support the year-end audit process with detailed insights.
- Oversee supplier payments and manage currency trading effectively.
- Manage bank postings and reconciliation tasks.
- Supervise weekly payroll processes to ensure timely payments.
- Provide holiday cover and supervision for credit control and finance administration.
- Engage in reporting and analysis to inform key financial decisions.
- Support the Finance Director and Financial Controller in various initiatives.
- Contribute to process improvements and the development of finance systems.
Requirements:
- Part Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or QBE with relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping, VAT, accruals, and prepayments.
- Proficient in Excel, Office, and finance systems.
- Excellent attention to detail coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
