A leading industry name has an immediate requirement for a qualified Senior Financial Analyst to join their dynamic finance team on an initial 6 month FTC. This key role will play a pivotal role in the financial management of the organisation and utilise your analytical skills to help drive the financial strategy forward.


You will provide insightful analysis and support strategic decision-making by delivering accurate financial reporting, budget management, and forecasting. This position requires a proactive individual who can collaborate across various departments while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and best practises.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to inform budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key trends and insights.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and project evaluations.
  • Collaborate with project managers to create and monitor budgets, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior financial staff.

Hybrid working - 2 days office per week


Salary - £80,000 to £90,000 pa + Benefits


Qualifications:


  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
  • Minimum of 5 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in a high level data driven environment.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling and MS Power Apps. Including coding methodologies for automating processes, performing data analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
