Junior Knowledge Lawyer - Employment Law (Part-Time)
Location: London (Hybrid Working)
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Part-time (3 days per week)
PQE: 1-4 years
A highly regarded London-based law firm is seeking a Junior Knowledge Lawyer to join its dynamic Employment Law team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified solicitor with 1-4 years' post-qualification experience to take on a specialist knowledge role within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
About the Role
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for employment law and a keen interest in legal knowledge management. Working closely with senior knowledge professionals, you will play a key role in supporting the team's legal excellence and client service through:
Monitoring and communicating legal developments and market trends
Maintaining and developing precedents, guidance notes, and training materials
Supporting internal and external training initiatives
Assisting with business development activities, including blogs, webinars, and legal directory submissions
Contributing to innovation and efficiency projects, including legal tech and document automation
What We're Looking For
Strong technical knowledge of employment law
Excellent legal writing and research skills
Experience drafting legal content or articles
A proactive, organised, and collaborative approach
Confidence using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Familiarity with legal tech tools and knowledge systems (desirable but not essential)
Ideal Background
1-4 years PQE in employment law
Experience advising on employment advisory and tribunal matters
Exposure to senior executive, partnership, or High Court employment work is a plus
Working Environment
Part-time role (0.6 FTE), typically 3 days per week
Hybrid working model with a minimum of 40% office presence
Flexible working arrangements considered
