We are currently seeking a talented Solicitor to join a dynamic and nationally recognised Commercial team focusing on primary care. This exciting opportunity is based in Manchester City Centre.
This role is tailored specifically to those seeking a focus on primary care work, making it ideal for candidates with a passion for this field rather than those seeking a general commercial contracts role. As our client operates a hybrid working policy, you can expect the flexibility of working both remotely and in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and negotiate partnership documentation for medical and dental practitioners
- Provide expert advice on general partnership matters
- Contribute to partnership mergers
- Offer guidance and documentation for partnership retirements, both voluntary and compulsory
- Provide valuable NHS contract advice
- Advise primary care networks
Key Duties:
In this role, you will:
- Work on matters relating to primary care services.
- Collaborate with Partners and senior members of the primary care team on complex cases.
- Handle your own matters as appropriate.
- Draught, review, advise on, and negotiate contracts.
- Develop internal relationships.
- Assist with business development initiatives.
About You:
We are looking for a Solicitor with NQ to 3 PQE experience in primary care, or someone interested in building a career in this specialised field. If you have the following skills, we want to hear from you:
- Experience or interest in primary care.
- Knowledge or awareness of NHS primary care service contracts and funding.
- Willingness to learn new areas within primary care.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Strong drafting skills with attention to detail.
- Commercial awareness.
- Conscientious, self-motivated, hardworking, and responsive.
- Critical thinking abilities, as well as excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and adhere to client protocols.
