Our client, a multinational leader in the utilities sector, is offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Procurement Programme Manager to join their Major Offshore Projects Procurement team. This is a unique chance to be part of a national organisation during a significant period of transformation and contribute to a clean, fair, and affordable energy future through commercial and innovative supply chain leadership.
In this role, you will collaborate with Joint Venture partners to deliver an exceptional end-to-end procurement service. You will act as a procurement leader, setting direction, driving results, working with senior stakeholders, and developing procurement strategies for a wide range of projects.
We are looking for someone with previous experience in a public sector or regulated environment. It is essential that you have prior working knowledge of UCR, ideally on an offshore project basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience delivering complex, high-value procurement projects and be able to think strategically and innovatively to find the best supplier solutions for the projects. You must have previous line management experience and the ability to not only act as a leader for procurement but also support the growth of the buying community.
