LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Director of Recruitment. This is a high-level strategic role focused on attracting and retaining top legal talent, with a particular emphasis on partner-level recruitment. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in legal recruiting, a strong network within the legal community, and a passion for building high-performing teams.
Position Overview:
The Director of Recruitment will lead the firm’s lateral partner recruitment strategy, working closely with firm leadership to identify, engage, and onboard top-tier legal professionals. This role requires a sophisticated understanding of the legal market, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to align recruitment efforts with the firm’s long-term growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans focused on attracting high-caliber partners and senior attorneys.
Build and maintain strong relationships with legal professionals, search firms, and industry influencers.
Collaborate with practice group leaders and executive leadership to assess hiring needs and define candidate profiles.
Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform recruitment strategies.
Ensure a seamless and professional candidate experience that reflects the firm’s values and culture.
Lead and mentor a team of recruitment professionals, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of legal recruiting experience, with a strong focus on partner-level placements.
Prior experience working for law firms is required.
Juris Doctor (JD) preferred.
Proven ability to develop and execute successful recruitment strategies in a competitive legal market.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
Location:
Flexible with preference for candidates located near major legal markets.

Full-time | Hybrid or On-site depending on location
Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $185,000.00 per year
