LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting one of our clients seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for the corporate office in Alameda, California. The job is all onsite! The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing accounts payable accounting, data entry, and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.
Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable invoices and ensure proper coding and approvals are obtained
Maintain vendor files, pick up and distribute mail
Assist with the preparation and filing 1099 forms
Assist with AP month-end close activities
Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting would be nice to have
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently, with a team, and prioritize tasks
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience: 2 years of accounting experience (Accounts Payable Clerk, Accounts Payable Specialist, Accounts Payable Administrator, Accounting Clerk) Accounting Assistant)
