Job Posting: Medical Biller

Location: Albuquerque, NM (On-Site or Hybrid)
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $18 per hour

About Us:

Join our dynamic healthcare team in Albuquerque, where we prioritize accuracy and efficiency in medical billing. We are looking for a dedicated Medical Biller to ensure timely and accurate billing processes, contributing to the financial health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process patient bills and insurance claims.

  • Ensure accuracy of coding and billing information.

  • Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing discrepancies.

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure timely payments.

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

  • Generate and analyze billing reports as needed.

  • Assist with other administrative tasks related to billing and collections.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical billing or coding is preferred.

  • Previous experience in medical billing or a related field is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Proficient in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
