Job Opening: Accounting Clerk
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Pay: $18–$23/hr
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
We’re hiring an Accounting Clerk to join a growing team in Albuquerque! If you're detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy supporting both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, this is a great opportunity to grow your accounting career.

Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable:
  • Prepare and submit customer invoices
  • Code, post, and receipt incoming payments
  • Coordinate and process daily bank deposits
  • Perform account, bank, and reconciliation tasks
  • Monitor accounts for non-payment or delays and follow up as needed
Accounts Payable:
  • Verify and process incoming invoices for accuracy
  • Prepare payments for approval and signature
  • Sort, code, and enter accounts payable data into the system
  • Investigate discrepancies and follow up on unpaid invoices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records
General Accounting Support:
  • Maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and supporting records
  • Assist with monthly financial reporting and reconciliations
  • Use financial data to research and resolve discrepancies
  • Track, audit, and replenish petty cash
  • Process and verify employee expense reports for accuracy

Qualifications:
  • 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with QuickBooks or similar preferred)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills


Pay Details: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
