Accounting Clerk
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Salary: $20/hr - $22/hr
Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accounting Clerk to join our client's team in Albuquerque. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle a variety of accounting tasks with precision and efficiency. Experience with SAP is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and timely. Ensure proper documentation and authorization.
  • Billing: Prepare and send out bills and invoices. Monitor accounts to ensure timely payment.
  • Payroll: Assist in processing payroll, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Vendor Management: Set up new vendors in the system, maintain vendor files, and ensure vendor information is current.
  • Collections: Make collection calls and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely receipt of payments.
  • Filing and Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for financial documents and records.
  • Data Entry: Enter financial data into accounting systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Support: Assist with additional accounting tasks and projects as needed to support the accounting team.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in accounting or finance is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an accounting role preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
    • Experience with accounting software; SAP experience is a plus.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
