Accounting Specialist – Albuquerque, NM
Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
$50,000 – $55,000 per year

We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join a local team in Albuquerque. If you're someone who enjoys working with numbers, takes pride in accuracy, and is looking to grow your skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment—this could be the right fit for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Handle daily accounts payable and receivable transactions

• Reconcile bank accounts and financial records to keep everything accurate and up to date

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing tasks

• Help prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts

• Maintain the general ledger and follow company accounting procedures

• Support audit preparation and tax filings as needed

• Work closely with internal teams to provide clear and timely financial information

• Pitch in on other accounting-related duties as they come up

What You’ll Need to Bring:

• At least 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

• An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar is a plus

• Experience using tools like QuickBooks, SAP, or other accounting platforms

• A solid understanding of accounting principles and attention to financial detail

• Great organizational and problem-solving skills

• The ability to work independently but also enjoy being part of a team

• Strong communication skills—you’re comfortable asking questions and sharing insights
