Billing Customer Service Representative

LHH Recruiting is assisting our client in Albuquerque, NM in hiring a Billing Customer Service Representative on a contract to hire basis. They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Billing Customer Service Representative to join their team. Essential Functions:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by researching, resolving, and responding to operational and billing inquiries from producers, policyholders, and other departments.

  • Utilize innovative technology to engage with customers and manage essential policy and billing account maintenance.

  • Continuously seek knowledge from internal support departments to improve service for external customers and address issues promptly.

  • Work collaboratively with agents, policyholders, and supporting departments to understand and meet customer needs, ensuring accurate policy and billing records.

  • Advocate for customer experience improvements by suggesting workflow, process, and interaction enhancements to leadership.

  • Maintain positive and professional client relationships, effectively handling concerns such as policy service inquiries, past due balance collections, account preparations for collections, and deductible disputes.

  • Perform accurate account reconciliations to provide essential information to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Identify and resolve systematic errors in the disbursement of audited premium and billing distributions.

  • Contribute actively to fostering a strong, values-based culture within the department and the organization as a whole.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service or billing role.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in using technology and software related to billing and customer service.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • A commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.



Pay Details: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
