Location: Albuquerque, NM
Schedule: Onsite, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $21/hr - $23/hr
Job Overview:
Our client, a well-respected organization in Albuquerque, is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong accounting background, excellent attention to detail, and experience managing financial records in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting, as well as assisting with budgeting and grant-related financial documentation. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Process payroll and generate financial statements as needed.
- Assist in preparing budgets and ensuring financial accuracy across all transactions.
- Support the finance team in maintaining the organization's financial health and sustainability.
- Prepare detailed financial reports for grant applications and funding proposals.
- Ensure all financial activities align with the mission and goals of the organization.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of recent, relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience (a degree is preferred but not required).
- Experience with accounting software (Sage and/or QuickBooks preferred).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and a proactive approach to financial management.
Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
