Medical Transcriptionist
Onsite Location: 4411 The 25 Way #150, Albuquerque, NM 87109
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $18.00/hour
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Transcriptionist to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of experience in medical transcription and possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, grammar, and documentation standards.
Responsibilities:
Accurately transcribe physician and healthcare provider dictations
Edit and proofread medical reports for grammar, clarity, consistency, and content
Ensure timely completion of transcription assignments
Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Collaborate with medical staff for clarification and accuracy when needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 years experience in Medical Transcription.
Skilled in operating transcription equipment and related computer software used in transcription departments.
Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy.
Strong clerical skills, including filing, documentation, and organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to follow and interpret both written and oral instructions.
Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, medical staff, and external partners.
Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities and keen attention to detail.
Capable of maintaining strict confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
Full understanding and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
Must possess a valid New Mexico driver’s license, active automobile insurance, and a clean driving record as an essential job function.
Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
