LHH is seeking an experienced Senior Project Estimator to join local, well respected Construction client here in Albuquerque. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role is crucial in ensuring our projects are accurately estimated and financially viable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive bid proposals.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.

• Conduct site visits to understand project scope and constraints.

• Solicit and review subcontractor bids and proposals.

• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

• Monitor and update project budgets and forecasts.

• Participate in pre-construction meetings and provide input on project planning and scheduling.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and building codes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating large scale projects

• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Timberline, or similar).

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
