Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: Aliso Viejo, CA - HYBRID

Salary: $57,000 per year

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Aliso Viejo. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in professional services and will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify invoices for accuracy and proper approval.

  • Manage and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

  • Ensure timely payment of invoices and maintain accurate records.

  • Handle monthly closing activities and assist with financial reporting.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain vendor relationships and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.

  • Assist with the preparation of 1099 forms and other tax-related documentation.

  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk, preferably in the professional services industry.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in accounting or finance is a plus.
