Corporate Controller Location:
Compensation: $140-$150,000 base + Bonus + Full Benefits
Company Overview:
Private equity-backed vegetation management services company.
Serves utility customers across the Northeast and Midwest.
Headquartered in Allentown, PA.
Experienced C-suite team with decades of industry expertise.
Opportunity:
Critical leadership role within the finance function, reporting to the CFO.
Highly visible position, working closely with senior executives and private equity sponsor.
Lead a team of four, responsible for financial reporting, internal controls, audits, treasury, and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team (Assistant Controller, Accounts Payable Clerk, two Staff Accountants).
Manage monthly close process using a 4/4/5 calendar.
Oversee P&L and Balance Sheet consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and US GAAP compliance.
Collaborate with FP&A Manager for variance analysis, management reporting, and cash forecasting.
Manage project accounting and costing for industrial services.
Serve as point person for financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
Support federal and state tax filings with external tax advisors.
Develop and implement internal controls and process improvements.
Prepare annual budgets and KPIs with operations leadership.
Provide strategic support and ad hoc analysis to executive leadership and private equity stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
5–7 years of experience in a Controller or similar role, preferably in a private equity-backed or mid-sized company.
Proficiency in US GAAP, including percentage-of-completion and ASC 842 lease accounting.
Experience managing financial audits and working with external auditors.
Strong Excel skills; experience with Viewpoint Vista, DOMO, or other BI tools is a plus.
High integrity, independent mindset, and collaborative leadership style.
Comfortable in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.
