LHH is proud to partner with a dynamic, private equity-backed Services company undergoing rapid expansion and ongoing M&A activity in the search for a Controller. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a respected, high-growth organization at a critical inflection point. With multiple acquisitions completed annually and a proven leadership team in place, the company is seeking a strategic, hands-on financial leader to help drive continued growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and internal/external reporting

  • Build, develop, and scale a best-in-class accounting and reporting team

  • Partner with the CFO and executive leadership on business strategy, performance analytics, and financial planning

  • Oversee integration of newly acquired businesses—including systems, processes, and controls

  • Own the annual audit process and manage relationships with external auditors

  • Support the development and enhancement of financial models, budgeting, and forecasting in partnership with FP&A

  • Identify and implement process improvements across all accounting functions to support scalability

  • Ensure adherence to GAAP and maintain robust internal controls

  • Prepare financial reports and analysis required by private equity sponsors

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred

  • 8+ years of progressive accounting and leadership experience, ideally within a private equity-backed or high-growth, multi-location environment

  • Demonstrated success in leading the month-end close and managing external audits

  • Experience in M&A, integration, and post-close financial alignment

  • Proven track record of leading teams and driving process improvements in dynamic settings

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functionally

  • Must reside in the Metro Atlanta area (hybrid work environment)

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance big-picture thinking and hands-on execution

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary (plus annual bonus and equity)

Pay Details: $160,000.00 to $200,000.00 per year
