Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist (Contract-to-Hire)

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our clients team in Altamonte Springs, FL. This is a contract-to-hire position with a competitive pay rate of $20 - $23 per hour. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume invoice processing and will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and accruals.
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Support the finance team with other accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Altamonte Springs, FL
