LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a well-established organization local to Ambler, PA, in search of a Direct Payroll & Billing Supervisor. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a hybrid work schedule. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and experienced professional responsible for leading a team of coordinators to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll and billing across assigned regions. This role involves overseeing daily operations, maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations, and upholding high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Job Title: Direct Payroll & Billing Supervisor
Location: Ambler, PA (Hybrid)
Salary Range: $65,000 – $70,000 per year
Job Type: Full-Time | Hybrid Schedule


Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Billing

  • Supervise data entry of timecards in accordance with internal policies and legal requirements
  • Prepare and deliver accurate weekly client invoices
  • Resolve payroll and billing issues promptly and professionally
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency in external databases (e.g., ADP, TSS)

Compliance

  • Accurately compute gross wages, overtime, pay rates, and compensation adjustments
  • Ensure all payroll and billing deadlines are met on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Stay current with applicable labor laws and payroll regulations

Team Supervision

  • Lead and support a team of payroll and billing coordinators
  • Ensure adequate staffing to meet departmental goals
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide training, and mentor team members
  • Collaborate with management on process improvements and special projects

Key Competencies

  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of relevant supervisory or payroll/billing experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
