Job Title: Part-Time Accounts Payable Accountant
Location: Ann Arbor, MI

Compensation: $26-29/hr.

Job Description:

Our client, an engineering company that supports the automotive industry, is seeking a reliable and communicative Part-Time Accounts Payable Accountant. The ideal candidate will be self-directed and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to manage accounts payable tasks efficiently.

Software: Sage Intacct and Excel advanced (v-lookups or x-lookups, creating reports, graphs, pivot tables, formulas)
Hours: 16-20 hours a week – can create own schedule
Worksite Type: Fully On-site

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and audit expense submissions

• Maintain and update vendor records

• Perform month-end closing activities

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions

• Reconcile accounts payable transactions

• Assist with the preparation of financial reports

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting

Qualifications:

• Reliable and communicative

• Self-directed and detail-oriented

• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
