LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a client in Ann Arbor, MI, in their search for a Staff Accountant to join their team for a large-scale project. This is a fully on-site, long-term contract opportunity ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

🛠 Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general ledger accounting and reconciliations

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

• Prepare journal entries and financial reports

• Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals

✅ Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles

• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
