LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a meticulous and seasoned Tax professional to become part of a reputable financial services firm. The successful candidate will oversee tax reporting and ensure compliance within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns in a timely manner.

  • Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.

  • Conduct thorough research on tax issues and provide recommendations.

  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions.

  • Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary information for tax filings.

  • Identify and implement tax-saving strategies to optimize the company's tax position.

  • Respond to tax notices and inquiries from tax authorities.

  • Assist with tax audits and provide necessary documentation and support.

  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization.

  • Provide support for special tax-related projects as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation highly preferred.

  • 3-5 years of experience in tax accounting or a related field.

  • Proficiency in tax preparation software and MS Excel.
