Bilingual HEDIS Coordinator (Korean)

Location: Hybrid (Arcadia, CA) - Occasional travel to provider offices required. Mileage reimbursed


Contract Duration: 3 months



Job Summary:

Are you passionate about healthcare and fluent in Korean? We are looking for a dedicated HEDIS Coordinator to join our team on a 3-month contract. In this role, you will play a crucial part in deploying and implementing medical retrieval strategies, collecting and tracking medical records, and working closely with Educators to schedule appointments for retrievals. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in patient care by ensuring quality and compliance with HEDIS measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the HEDIS team to collect member records and conduct reviews by contacting providers and placing results into a specific database.

  • Facilitate fax or telephone call notifications for providers using reports.

  • Create PowerPoint decks and other training materials for providers and staff.

  • Collect and compile required documentation to maintain critical quality improvement functions.

  • Conduct HIPAA-compliant telephonic and electronic outreach to patients for medication adherence/utilization and other risk/quality gaps closure support, including CAHPS and HEDIS/Risk gaps.

  • Identify barriers preventing patients from closing gaps and work with care team members to help patients manage their health.

  • Coordinate with members of the patient care team, including vendors, providers, pharmacists, nurses, and patient care coordinators to address patient needs.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Korean and able to pass a language assessment.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Health Plan/Managed Care environment or office experience in a physician’s office.

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours a week) with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work if requested.



Pay Details: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
