Payroll Specialist

Please note that this job is 100% onsite in Arvada, CO.

Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions (LHH) is partnering with a leading construction company to fill their open Payroll Specialist job in Arvada, CO. To qualify, you must have at least two years of experience in a similar role. You also MUST have previous experience in the construction industry.

This is a DIRECT HIRE job opportunity where you will earn between $30.00 and $35.00 per hour. You will also be eligible for this company’s competitive benefits package (details below).

Responsibilities:

• Processing weekly payroll for 600+ employees in multiple states


• Maintaining compliance with weekly certified payroll reporting


• Managing Prevailing Wage projects, wage determinations, and certified reporting


• Responding to payroll and benefit surveys annually


• Preparing wage reports for auditors


• Creating manual fringe schedules as needed


• Uploading and completing certified payroll transcripts weekly


• Maintaining compliance with DOL requirements on Federal Prevailing Wage projects


• All other related tasks as required

  Qualifications:



• At least two years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role required


• Previous experience in the construction industry required


• Excellent attention to detail


• Excellent organizational skills


• Excellent analytical skills


• Previous experience with Spectrum Viewpoint and/or ADP software preferred

  Compensation:



• Hourly rate between $30.00 and $35.00
