LHH is seeking an experienced Benefits Specialist to join a leading insurance company in Sandy Springs, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and administering employee benefits programs, with a focus on ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.


Responsibilities:



  • Manage day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, providing timely and accurate information and assistance.


  • Process enrollment, changes, and terminations in the benefits system (Workday), ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.


  • Coordinate with external vendors, insurance carriers, and brokers to resolve issues and ensure smooth administration of benefits programs.


  • Conduct audits and reconciliations of benefits data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy of records.


  • Prepare and distribute communications and materials related to benefits enrollment, changes, and updates to employees.


  • Assist with the implementation of new benefits programs or changes to existing programs, including testing and documentation.


  • Generate reports and analyze data related to benefits utilization, costs, and trends, providing insights and recommendations to management.


  • Collaborate with HR team members and other stakeholders to support initiatives related to employee benefits and wellness.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration, preferably in a corporate or insurance industry setting.


  • Strong proficiency in Workday HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as Pivot Tables and VLookups.


  • Knowledge of benefits regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.


  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify and resolve issues independently.


  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.


  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
