Job Summary
The Compensation Manager develops and manages compensation strategies to attract, retain, and motivate employees. This role ensures competitive, equitable compensation practices that align with business goals and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement compensation policies and programs.
Conduct market research and adjust compensation structures as needed.
Design and manage salary structures and pay grades.
Conduct job evaluations and recommend salary adjustments.
Analyze compensation data and prepare reports for management.
Monitor compensation trends and internal equity.
Ensure compensation practices comply with laws and regulations.
Oversee incentive programs and handle compensation-related audits.
Partner with HR and managers on compensation issues.
Communicate policies and provide guidance on compensation matters.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field; advanced degree or CCP preferred.
5+ years in compensation management, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in compensation software and Microsoft Excel.
