Job Summary: LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing bi-weekly payroll processing using WorkForce Now, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process bi-weekly payroll for all employees using WorkForce Now.

  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including regular wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.

  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, including changes in employment status, salary adjustments, and tax withholdings.

  • Review and verify timesheets, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.

  • Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing prompt and accurate responses.

  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as required.

  • Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.

  • Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

  • Assist with year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation and distribution.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred.

  • At least two years of experience in payroll processing, preferably using WorkForce Now.

  • Strong understanding of payroll practices, tax regulations, and labor laws.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
