As a Payroll Analyst, you will oversee the payroll processing for a large workforce, ensuring precision and compliance with all relevant regulations. This role demands a detail-oriented professional who can manage complex payroll tasks while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and verify payroll for a substantial employee base (1,000+ employees) on a bi-weekly schedule.
Ensure the accuracy of payroll data by reviewing timekeeping records, attendance, and leave requests.
Manage payroll tax calculations and ensure the timely and accurate filing of federal, state, and local tax payments.
Address employee inquiries related to payroll issues, including deductions, adjustments, and other payroll-related concerns.
Stay current with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
Prepare and distribute payroll reports and summaries for both internal and external stakeholders.
Assist with year-end processing and reporting, including W-2s and 1099s.
Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to resolve payroll discrepancies and issues.
Develop and maintain payroll procedures and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role, managing payroll for large, multi-state employee groups.
Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP).
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP - Certified Payroll Professional) are a plus.
Pay Details: $26.00 to $33.00 per hour
