LHH has partnered with a publicly traded and well established manufacturing organization in the search for their first ever Product Manager!
The ideal candidate brings a strong mechanical background; a deep understanding of spare part sales, the remanufacturing process, and the engine servicing process; has demonstrated success in product management; is excited about the opportunity to establish the product management process and role within an organization; and is open to some domestic and international travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Implementation
Oversee planning, implementation, and tracking of services sales projects
Ensure project goes according to plan, revising when necessary
Owning the creation of documentation necessary to track the project
Monitor the project's progression, pivoting when needed to ensure the project's success
Create communication schedules to keep all necessary staff updated on project details and outcomes
Quality control all project work on a regular basis so that it meets project guidelines
Project Control & Evaluation
Leading project teams of various sizes and working directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget
Track the project's financial results
Assess project outcomes against KPI's and intended results created during the planning phase
Certify that the project's results are executed within the quality, timing, and financial constraints set during planning
Sales Project Planning
Identify market, growth, and sales opportunities for new and remanufactured spare parts and diesel engines for multiple corporate distribution channels via
collaborating regularly with internal and external stakeholders regarding aftermarket sales
Analyzing sales data
Coordinate service sales efforts, liaising with branch managers, operations managers, service supervisors, salespersons, parts specialists, technicians, and internal engineering teams to identify market requirements and ensure services sales requirements are met and schedules are on track
Develop, build, define, and scope service sales projects with key internal stakeholders
Create detailed work plans identifying and structuring the plans to bring products to market
Establish resources needed to complete projects and launch new products
Revise project schedules and product scopes with internal stakeholders, regularly revising the schedule on an as-need basis throughout the project life
Determine the KPI's and objectives for the project's evaluation and completion.
REQUIREMENTS
Professional mechanical background
Experience in product management
Understanding of spare part sales and the remanufacturing processes
Strong writing, editing, presentation, and public speaking skills
Impeccable organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated success in delegation to product and project stakeholders as well as in
Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally 20% - 30% of the time
Bachelors or Masters Degree
