LHH is seeking a Project Management Office, Director, to lead and establish a Project Management Office in Atlanta, Raleigh, Winston-Salem, New York, or Washington DC office for our law firm client. This role involves overseeing the creation and launch of the PMO function, managing the firm's portfolio, programs, and projects, and driving exceptional service delivery across our teams. The Director will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our project management practices and ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Design and implement strategic governance for programs and projects.
- Lead portfolio execution, partnering with firm leadership and stakeholders.
- Experience structuring portfolio roadmaps over multiple years of delivery.
- Establish methodologies to monitor progress and performance of portfolio and projects.
- Provide project management responsibilities during PMO launch and maturation.
- Communicate key portfolio financials and KPIs to stakeholders.
- Provide PMO leadership in the yearly budget planning process.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or related field required; PMP certification and MBA are preferred.
- Experience working in a law firm; exposure within AmLaw 100 preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience creating and/or maturing a PMO function in a professional services organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with senior management, external stakeholders, and team members.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Full-Time
- On Site
- This position requires occasional flexible work schedules, including evenings and weekends.
Pay Details: $175,000.00 to $225,000.00 per year
