Job Summary: LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Specialist to join one of our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the novation of existing supplier/vendor contracts, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring seamless communication with vendors and internal stakeholders. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the novation of existing supplier/vendor contracts to ensure smooth transitions.

  • Communicate with vendors regarding the transition process and gather all required documentation.

  • Track the status of contract novations and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

  • Collaborate closely with legal, procurement, and operations teams to ensure contract alignment and compliance.

  • Enter and update data in the SharePoint file structure as needed to keep information current.

  • Follow up with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure transition deadlines are met.

  • Assist with additional administrative tasks related to supplier onboarding and offboarding processes.

Job Requirements:

  • Prior experience in supply chain, procurement, contract administration, or vendor coordination.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with external vendors and internal stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint.

  • Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision.

Education / Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.

  • 2–3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or administrative support roles.



Pay Details: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour
