LHH is partnering with a construction company that is searching for a temporary Payroll Specialist for their team. You will be processing payroll on a team and be handling union payroll as well. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of payroll experience and have worked with unions previously. You will work with a friendly team and be able to work a hybrid schedule after training.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Processing bi-weekly payroll and payroll taxes for over two hundred employees
  • Handling union payroll reporting and ensuring correct payroll processing
  • Auditing time cards and fixing errors when needed
  • Reconciling benefits and employee accounts
  • Coordinating with the HR team and responding to employee inquiries
  • Assisting with payroll-related journal entries
Qualifications:
  • At least three years of payroll processing experience
  • Previous experience with union payroll is highly desired
  • Professional communication skills
  • Ability to work discretely with confidential information
  • Able to function with extreme accuracy in a high-volume environment
Employment Details:
  • Temporary position
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Fully onsite at the office in Auburn, WA


Pay Details: $31.00 to $34.00 per hour
