Accounts Payable Specialist

LHH (formerly Accounting Principals) is currently seeking an Accounts Payable specialist in Austin, TX.

Recent graduates with a BA in Accounting and light experience-encouraged to apply!

Qualifications:

- Must have excellent communication skills to work with both internal and external customers effectively

- Ability to handle stressful situation and remain focused on objective

- Recent high-volume and multi-entity accounts payable experience preferred

- Strong Excel skills and ERP system experience

Employment Type: Full-time, Temp-to-hire

Compensation: $21-23/hr

Duties and responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

- Resolve invoice discrepancies by utilizing workflow technology and work with appropriate business units to determine cause and solution

- Process a high volume of purchase invoices according to defined policies and procedures

- Prepare weekly check run

- Utilize 3 way matching concept of purchase order to payment
