Job Title: Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager

Location: Austin, TX


Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site (hybrid flexibility upon successful completion of training)

Position Summary


The AR Manager will oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate billing, collections, and reporting. This role is critical in maintaining healthy cash flow and supporting the financial stability of the company.



Key Responsibilities



· Manage the full-cycle accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and cash application.

· Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.

· Prepare monthly AR reports and forecasts for senior management.

· Supervise and mentor 2 AR staff

· Reconcile AR ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

· Collaborate with production and sales teams to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accurate order-to-cash processing.

· Generate aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts in accordance with credit policies.

· Assist with month-end closing activities related to AR and support audits as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred


5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, including recent management/leadership


Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Viewpoint).


Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.


Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
