Global Assistant Controller

Location: Primarily onsite with hybrid flexibility after onboarding
Industry: Global Manufacturing
Reports To: Senior Finance Leadership

We’re partnering with a global enterprise to find a high-impact Global Assistant Controller who will lead financial close processes, drive global standardization, and strengthen internal controls. This is a hands-on leadership role with a clear path toward a Global Controller position.

Key Responsibilities

Initial Focus (First 3–6 Months):

• Support HQ close process; partner with FP&A on cost allocations

• Implement global controls framework (focus on revenue and A/R)

• Stabilize and enhance use of OneStream EPM

Ongoing Responsibilities:

• Standardize policies across global entities

• Improve global close efficiency and cross-regional communication

• Collaborate with shared services to optimize offshore processes

• Lead global financial consolidations and reporting

• Drive automation and ERP integration improvements

Strategic Impact:

• Partner with CFO and global finance leaders on transformation initiatives

• Lead process improvement and compliance efforts across regions

• Play a central role in long-term global finance strategy

Ideal Candidate Profile

• CPA required; CMA or MBA preferred

• 12+ years in accounting/finance, ideally with Big 4 and industry blend

• Deep experience in global consolidations, financial controls, and US GAAP

• Background in manufacturing or similar global operations

• Strong experience with OneStream, Oracle R/12, or comparable ERPs

• Proven track record in leading global finance transformation

• Excellent communication and change management skills
