We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for one of our big multinational clients in the manufacturing industry based in Austin, Texas. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the company's financial health and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability.

  • Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring the company's financial stability.

  • Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and executive team.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

  • Manage risk and invest in technology with an eye for strategy.

  • Oversee and manage lower-level financial managers.

  • Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to support business objectives.

  • Lead financial planning and analysis, including cost accounting and capital spending.

  • Utilize SAP/ERP systems for financial management and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within the manufacturing industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of financial industry trends, data analysis, and forecasting methods.

  • Strong understanding of corporate financial law and risk management practices.

  • Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and financial management software.

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.

  • Superb communication and people skills.

  • Strategic thinker with a proven record of problem-solving.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cost accounting and capital spending in a manufacturing environment.

  • Familiarity with AP/AR and reporting and analysis of plant performance and inventory controls.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong Excel and variance analysis skills.
