Finance Manager (Salary Range: $135,000–$150,000)

LHH - Onsite in Austin, TX

LHH is seeking a Finance Manager for a technology client based in Austin, Texas. Reporting to the CFO, this role will be responsible for leading financial reporting, forecasting, and strategic analytics, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, and executive-level reporting.

In addition to holding a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, the ideal candidate will have over 10 years of finance experience, including strong capabilities in financial modeling and projections. They must demonstrate leadership skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and a proven track record of improving financial processes and insights. Proficiency with NetSuite ERP is a plus! Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including narratives and executive summaries for stakeholders.

  • Lead development of executive reporting for the Board of Directors, investors, and leadership teams.

  • Collaborate on budgeting, strategic planning, performance forecasting, and debt covenant modeling with the executive team.

  • Drive pricing strategies for RFP responses, including discount modeling and customer-facing pricing documentation.

  • Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, and Accounting to align cost projections, revenue targets, and financial variances.

  • Review and approve ad-hoc discount requests and coordinate competitive pricing strategies.

  • Provide ongoing analysis and management of sales commission structures, including exceptions and performance incentives.

  • Develop operational metrics to evaluate process effectiveness and business performance.

  • Spearhead automation and reporting improvements to enhance data-driven decision-making.

  • Coach and mentor finance team members to build department capabilities.

Client Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.

  • At least 10 years of progressive finance experience, with a focus on financial modeling and projections.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and drive results across teams.

  • Experience with NetSuite ERP is highly preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for influencing stakeholders and collaborating cross-functionally.

  • Deep problem-solving skills and experience with process improvement in finance.

  • High proficiency in Excel and analytical tools.

  • Strong integrity, sound judgment, and a self-starter mindset with attention to detail.
