Financial Analyst (Salary Range: $75,000–$90,000)

LHH is seeking a Financial Analyst for a client in the technology industry in Austin, TX. This role will report directly to the CFO and work closely with key business leaders to manage financial planning, forecasting, sales and operational modeling, and business performance analytics.
In addition to holding a bachelor’s degree in a related field, the ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, strong Excel modeling skills, and the ability to create actionable insights from data. Proficiency with NetSuite is a plus! Candidates must demonstrate keen attention to detail, excellent time management, and solid communication skills. Responsibilities:
Lead the development and ongoing updates of financial forecasts, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow models.
Partner with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain leaders to analyze and revise revenue, margin, and unit forecasts.
Manage the annual budgeting process, including coordinating strategic meetings and creating executive deliverables for board and investor presentations.
Produce recurring and ad hoc variance reports comparing actual results against budgets and forecasts, offering insights into business performance.
Prepare and deliver strategic analytics to support leadership decision-making, including margin, pricing, and revenue analysis.
Support the CFO with investor and board materials, including MD&A commentary and scenario modeling for private equity and banking stakeholders.
Collaborate with Sales and Accounting on the evaluation and modeling of compensation plans, including performance incentives and exceptions.
Client Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
3–5 years of experience in a financial analysis role, preferably in a mid-sized corporate environment.
Advanced Excel proficiency and comfort working with complex financial models.
NetSuite ERP experience is highly preferred.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in all work.
Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across departments.
A self-starter with intellectual curiosity and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
