$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per Year
LHH is working on a temp to hire Payroll Tax Specialist for a logistic company located in far Southwest Austin. In this role you are responsible for managing all payroll tax compliance, resolving payroll tax cases, audit and reconcile payroll tax reports. This is a hybrid position working three days from home and two days in the office and offering a salary of $75-$85k.
Responsibilities:
Provide payroll tax expertise and support payroll department on all related tax issues
Work closely with third party payroll processor ensuring all notices are addressed and filed
Verify tax information is correct and up to date
Identify and resolve any tax discrepancies
Will be responsible for year end reporting including W2 adjustments and corrections
Qualifications:
Minimum of five plus years of multi-state payroll experience
Heavy knowledge of payroll tax federal and local
UKG experience preferred
Excellent communication skills
