LHH has partnered with a retail company on a contract to hire Senior Accountant role in far Southwest Austin, TX. The right candidate will have five years of senior level accounting experience. In this role you will be responsible for managing day to day accounting functions including month end close, managing the general ledger, and financial reporting. If you have a natural eye for streamlining processes and working in a collaborative environment then this is the role for you. This contract role pays $45-$48 per hour and offers a hybrid schedule. Responsibilities:
Administers preparation of monthly, quarterly close and performs analysis
Prepares financial reports as required
Verifies support schedules to general ledger control accounts
Works closely with system staff to analyze proposed account adjustments and prepare special reports
Assists in the development project budgets
Assist in the implementation and optimization of accounting systems and processes
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required
Team player but able to work independently
Proficiency in using ERP accounting software
Five years of Senior Accounting experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
