Sr. Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid Schedule)
Type: Full-time | Exempt

A rapidly growing, multi-brand manufacturing and e-commerce business is seeking a Sr. Manager of FP&A to lead the company’s forecasting, planning, and performance analysis efforts. This is a high-impact role with direct visibility to senior leadership and an opportunity to drive real financial and operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and enhance budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple brands and product lines

  • Build dynamic reporting tools to analyze actual expenses vs. budgeted costs, identifying underlying drivers of variance such as volume, input changes, and modeling assumptions

  • Develop a robust standard costing framework for products, allowing for meaningful tracking of financial performance across SKUs

  • Conduct analysis to evaluate optimal production locations, helping to maximize EBITDA through cost-efficiency and resource allocation

  • Create monthly reporting packages with financial insights and trends for cross-functional stakeholders

  • Partner with business leaders to assess capital investments, ROI, and new product initiatives

  • Manage and mentor a team of Financial Analysts, ensuring project execution and career development

  • Deliver ad-hoc financial models and scenario analysis to support strategic decisions

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or relevant certification a plus

  • 6–10+ years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally in manufacturing, CPG, or e-commerce environments

  • Experience managing and developing finance team members

  • Strong skills in Excel modeling, variance analysis, and ERP/reporting tools (NetSuite preferred)

  • Demonstrated ability to translate financial data into actionable insights

  • A collaborative, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
