Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to lead a maintenance team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all maintenance activities to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of production equipment, utilities, and the facility in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and oversee the preventative and predictive maintenance programs for all production and facility equipment.
Lead, train, and manage the maintenance team, including technicians, planners, and contractors.
Ensure all maintenance work complies with food safety and regulatory requirements (FDA, USDA, OSHA, etc.).
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Engineering teams to support plant operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage the maintenance budget, including procurement of parts, supplies, and services.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, equipment history, and compliance documentation using CMMS.
Ensure adherence to GMP, HACCP, and other food safety standards within maintenance operations.
Support capital projects including equipment installation, upgrades, and plant expansions.
Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
5+ years of maintenance management experience in a food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
Solid understanding of food safety regulations and compliance (FDA, USDA, SQF/BRC, etc.).
Demonstrated leadership and team development skills.
Strong troubleshooting and decision-making capabilities under pressure.
Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Maintenance Management (CMRP or similar).
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience with automation and PLC systems.

$95,000 - $110,000 commensurate with experience.
