Position: Medical Coder

Location: Baltimore, MD 21201 (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately code and document E/M services provided by physicians and other healthcare professionals.

• Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing requirements.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary documentation and clarify coding requirements.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations.

• Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance coding accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) is required.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in E/M medical coding.

• Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with healthcare providers.

Work Hours and Flexibility: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (Onsite). Some flexibility after the first two weeks of employment.
