Project Manager
LHH is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager for a temporary-to-hire opportunity in the construction industry. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in construction project management with a hands-on approach to project initiation, monitoring, and closeout. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively coordinate teams, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure project deliverables meet high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Initiation:
Lead project kick-off meetings with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
Define scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and documentation prior to project start.
Project Monitoring & Execution:
Oversee day-to-day project operations, ensuring alignment with budget, timeline, and quality expectations.
Track progress against key milestones; proactively address delays or issues.
Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure resources are aligned with project needs.
Conduct regular site visits and status meetings; maintain detailed project documentation.
Provide timely updates to stakeholders and company leadership.
Project Closeout:
Ensure all contractual obligations are met and deliverables completed.
Oversee final inspections, punch list completion, and project documentation.
Manage the handoff of completed work to clients and/or operations teams.
Conduct post-project evaluations and lessons-learned reviews.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in construction project management.
Proven experience overseeing all phases of construction projects, particularly initiation, monitoring, and closeout.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, regulations, and safety standards.
Proficient in project management tools and construction software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, etc.).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
PMP or other relevant certification is a plus.
Experience working on commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.
Pay Details: $34.00 to $39.00 per hour
